The objective of this phase was to identify one or more suppliers capable of coordinating the finishes of the washbasin and cabinet according to the RAL colors proposed by the client.

PHASE 1

Exploring Finishes:

We began the finishes definition phase with the goal of proposing three cohesive combinations between the washbasin and the cabinet, taking into account the RAL colors provided by the client and the flooring samples.
This quickly proved to be the most significant technical and aesthetic challenge of the project. In most cases, the finishes of the washbasins and cabinets were not fully aligned with each other, nor did they match the RAL specifications with precision.

PHASE 2

Thorough research, technical evaluation
and supplier screening

We carried out an intensive sourcing process that included:

  • Direct contact with over a dozen international suppliers.
  • Technical and commercial meetings to explore potential material combinations.
  • Requests for and analysis of physical samples to evaluate color accuracy, texture, and material compatibility.
  • Visits to factories and showrooms to assess finishes under real-world conditions.

Despite these efforts, we were unable to find a supplier capable of delivering an exact color match between the washbasin and the cabinet while preserving the originally requested color scheme.

Final supplier selection with coordinated solutions

We identified a supplier capable of providing both washbasins and cabinets with perfectly coordinated finishes. Although the available colors do not precisely match the originally proposed RAL tones, they offer a visually sober and elegant solution that harmonizes well with the project’s flooring.
